Microsoft 365
We set up and manage Microsoft 365 for small offices: mailboxes, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive, plus the security settings most tenancies never get. That includes multi-factor authentication, sensible sharing rules, and a licence count that matches how many people actually work there.
What's included
- Tenancy setup or takeover from a previous provider
- Mailbox migration from Google Workspace, IMAP or an old Exchange server
- Multi-factor authentication rolled out across every account
- SharePoint and OneDrive structure your team can actually navigate
- Shared mailboxes, distribution lists and calendar permissions
- Licence review — we routinely find people paying for staff who left
Common problems we fix
- “Email stopped working this morning”
- “A client says our invoices are going to their junk folder”
- “We're paying for licences nobody uses”
- “Someone left and we can't get into their mailbox”
- “Files are saved in four different places”
- “We got a warning about a sign-in from overseas”
Paying per callout? Clients on a monthly plan don't wait for things to break.
See our plansWhat it costs, and what changes the price
Setup and migration is quoted per project based on mailbox count. Ongoing management is per user per month and sits inside a managed plan. Microsoft licences are billed at Microsoft's price with no margin added.
- Number of mailboxes, and whether they are moving from Gmail, IMAP or an old Exchange server
- How much mail history is coming across — years of archives take longer than months
- Whether SharePoint and OneDrive need a structure built or just migrating as-is
- Whether we are taking over an existing tenancy someone else configured
- Whether multi-factor authentication has to be rolled out to staff who have never used it
A licence review is part of every takeover, and it usually pays for part of the work. Paying for departed staff is the most common thing we find.

What's not included
Worth knowing up front, so nothing on the invoice is a surprise. Where something falls outside what we do, we'll tell you who should do it.
- Microsoft licence fees, billed at cost directly or through your own account
- Third-party app subscriptions that integrate with 365
- Custom Power Platform or workflow development
- Training beyond the handover session, which can be arranged separately
A job like this
A Wynnum firm of nine was paying for fourteen licences, three of them for people who had left over a year earlier, and two on a tier nobody used. The review took an hour and cut the monthly bill by more than the migration cost.
Questions about microsoft 365
Can you move us from Gmail to Microsoft 365?
Yes. We migrate mail, contacts and calendars, keep the old system running in parallel until the last message has landed, and cut the domain over out of hours. Most small offices notice nothing beyond signing in once with new details.
Do we really need multi-factor authentication?
Yes. Password-only accounts are the single most common way a small business gets compromised in Australia, and email is usually the target because that's where invoices live. MFA takes an afternoon to roll out and stops nearly all of it.
Why are our emails going to spam?
Almost always because SPF, DKIM and DMARC records aren't set correctly on your domain. We check and fix those records, then monitor delivery for a fortnight to confirm mail is landing where it should.
Who owns the tenancy if we leave?
You do. Your Microsoft 365 tenancy is registered to your business, not to us, and we hand over global administrator access whenever you ask. We never hold a client's domain or tenancy hostage.
How long does a migration to Microsoft 365 take?
For a small office, planning takes a week or two and the cutover happens over a single evening or weekend. Mail history copies in the background beforehand, so the final sync is short. Staff sign in once with new details on the Monday and the old system stays reachable for a fortnight in case something was missed.
Can you take over a tenancy our last provider set up?
Yes, and it is one of our more common jobs. We audit what is there, get global administrator access documented in your name, remove any access the previous provider no longer needs, and review licensing. You almost always end up paying less than you were.
Most often for accountants and legal — though the underlying work is much the same whatever you do.
