Kosmos IT provides managed IT support, computer repairs and network setup for small businesses and home offices across Brisbane, Logan, Redlands and the Gold Coast. Owned and run by Jass Singh, with Troy Overend on web and search.
Why there's no shopfront
A shopfront is rent, and rent is priced into every hour you're billed. We are entirely mobile, and everything happens where your equipment already is. You don't unplug a workstation, drive it somewhere, and wait three days for a phone call.
It also means we see the actual environment. Half the problems we get called about aren't the computer at all — they're the cable run someone stapled to a skirting board in 2014, or a switch sitting in a cupboard at 45 degrees.
The name
Kosmos is Greek for order out of chaos. That's the whole job.
How we work
We tell you what it costs before we start
A fixed quote after diagnosis, and approval before we spend your money. No invoice arrives with a number you haven't already seen.
You own everything
Your domain, your Microsoft 365 tenancy, your documentation, your licences. If you leave, you take all of it and we hand over access the same week.
We say when something isn't worth fixing
Sometimes the honest answer is that a seven-year-old machine should be replaced rather than repaired. We'd rather say so than bill you twice for the same laptop.
Disruptive work happens out of hours
Cutovers, migrations and cabling get scheduled after hours or over a weekend. Your staff shouldn't be standing around while we work.
One number to call
You don't log a ticket into a queue and wait to find out who picks it up. You call, and you speak to someone who already knows your environment.

Jass owns the business and does the technical work himself — managed IT, Microsoft 365, networks, backup and security for offices of three to thirty. He works on site rather than behind a counter, which is why the advice tends to be about what your office actually runs rather than what a catalogue recommends.
Web, search and AEO
Troy Overend
Troy handles the web and search side: site builds, technical SEO, and answer-engine optimisation — the work that decides whether an AI assistant names your business when someone asks. He owns Brand Visibility and Knowledge Catalog, and works with clients who want to be found as well as supported.
